Video Otoscopy - Firefly

It is medical device which is used to look into the ears. An otoscope potentially gives a view of the ear canal and tympanic membrane or eardrum and screen for illness during regular check-ups and also to investigate ear symptoms.

Nebulization

It turns liquid medicine into a mist that can be easily inhaled. Patient breathe in the medicine through a connected mouthpiece or facemask. This allows the medicine to enter the lungs directly. Nebulizers used in paitent with lung diseases such as pneumonia, etc.

Dental Scaling & Polishing

It is non surgical procedure involving removal of dental plaque & calculus. After a thorough examination of your dog's mouth, tooth scaling will be performed, using both hand and ultrasonic scalers, to remove plaque and tartar above and below the gum line. The tartar below the gum line causes the most significant periodontal disease, so its removal is important.

Blood Transfusion

This facility is also available for dogs in this center. The blood transfusion is given directly into the vein through the IV catheter. The total dose of blood to be transfused is based on the dog's size and how much blood they have lost. This is given over a specific time period, and the dog is monitored very closely to be sure they aren't developing an allergic reaction.

Well Equipped Operation Theater

PDRC also have Well equipped operation theater for your pet. The lighting in the theatre is very high intensity with no shadows in the operating area to help the surgeon operate to a high standard. In the operating room gaseous anaesthetics are available, patients can recieve oxygen, sevoflurane or isoflurane, or nitrous oxide. These anaesthetics are the safest available to ensure maximum safety for your pets & help ensure a rapid, smooth recovery. Some of the older anaesthetics are less safe & cause slower, & sometimes bad recoveries.

Central Oxygen Supply

PDRC also have Central Oxygen Supply facilities for pet. Oxygen therapy is indicated for any patient presented in respiratory distress. Even a patient with mild-to-moderate respiratory distress should receive supplemental oxygen. Patients in severe distress require oxygen supplementation immediately, before attempts to identify the cause.
